1.  Questions About Ordering

How do I order online?

 
Ordering with The LighthouseBookstore.com is easy!

After finding the item you want, click "Add to Cart" to place it into your personal Shopping Cart.  If you would like to purchase more than one copy, click the "More" button. Converesly, if you would like to remove an item from your cart, click the "Less" button.   Click "Check Out" to begin our simple process. Sign in to our checkout process using your LighthouseBookstore user name and password as a security measure.  We are protecting your order information from unauthorized access. If you have not yet registered a user name and password, you can create them at this time.

Enter the shipping address.

  • Choose your shipping method.
  • Verify your order information.
  • Complete your payment information.
  • Review and submit your order.

What are my payment options?

 
LighthouseBookstore.com accepts payment by credit card. You can pay for your order with Visa, MasterCard or any debit card that features either the Visa or MasterCard logo.

Can I place an order by phone or fax?

 
Placing an order online is easy, but you can also order any of the products you find online at LighthouseBookstore.com by calling one of our friendly Customer Service People toll free at (800) 377-7214. Fax orders can be sent to (204) 727-8738.

What if I have an out-of-stock item in my order?

 
Items found to be out-of-stock during processing will be placed in "Backorder" status and shipped to you when available at no extra cost.  You can check the status of your order by clicking on the "Order Status" button on the top menu bar.

Can I redeem a gift certificate online?

 
We are not able to process gift certificates online. 

Can I purchase a gift certificate online?

 
Yes! Simply type "Gift Certificate" in the search field and click the "Search" button.   Once purchased, a Gift Certificate for the full amount of your purchase will be sent to the shipping address you specificed.

Can I cancel my order after it has been submitted?

 
Because we strive to process orders quickly it is difficult to modify an order once it has begun processing. Try emailing us as soon as possible and we will let you know if we can comply with your request. If we are unable to comply with your request simply return any unwanted item and we will be happy to credit your account.

What are the return policies for online orders?

 
A customer may receive a full refund on merchandise returned within 90 days with the original invoice/receipt.

Returned merchandise must be in original condition with include all packaged accessories. After 90 days we can offer the guest a merchandise credit for the price of the product on the invoice/receipt.

Without the original invoice/receipt, we can offer you a credit equal to the lowest sale price of the product within the past 90 days.

No returns may be made on any opened recorded music, software, videos or electronics. Defective products may be exchanged for the same product within 30 days of purchase.
Seasonal clearance items are non-returnable.  Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

How/where do I return an item?

 
For items purchased from LighthouseBookstore.com our return policy is fast and easy! Simply email us a note providing your name, address, daytime phone number, reason for return and action requested (refund, replacement or exchange). Email to sales@lighthousebookstore.com.   Once authorization for returning is confirmed, re-package the product and send the package by trackable delivery to:

We are happy to refund the cost of the product. We are unable to refund original shipping or return postage charges unless the return is due to our error. We accept returns within 90 days of original purchase date. Please take a moment to read our return policy. We will notify you by email once we have issued your refund or shipped your replacement/exchange item. Refunds or additional charges caused by exchange will be processed to the original credit card used for purchase. You can also return an item purchased from LighthouseBookstore.com at the local store if you are in our trading area.  Simply bring the item and the shipping invoice/acknowledgment showing the price paid for the item to a store associate.

Can I use a catalog coupon online? We are not able to accept catalog coupons online.

 

2.  Questions about shipping

What are my shipping options?

 
Shipping charges are calculated per item, using the size and weight of the item. Shipping times and rates are estimated as follows:

Shipping charges do not include charges for international customs, duties, taxes or fees. The receiver may be asked to pay customs, duties, taxes or fee prior to release of the package by international postal authorities.

Shipping time includes one day for order processing if the order is placed M-F before 4:00 PM, Central Time. Otherwise add one more business day.

How soon can I expect to receive my order?

 
In stock items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt Monday through Friday. See our shipping options for delivery times.

International / APO / FPO addresses: Items shipped to international addresses can take 20 ± business days to arrive. 

Tracking information is available for international orders.

Credit requests for items not delivered by Canada Post will not be processed or considered any time prior to 90 days from the original order date.

Can I send a gift directly from LighthouseBookstore.com?

 
Sending a gift is easy! When completing your online order simply put the gift recipient name and address in the "Shipping Address" section and your name and billing address in the "Billing Address" section.

We are not able to offer gift messaging. LighthouseBookstore.com is hoping to develop improvements to include a gift message to the recipient.

Can I talk to someone about my order?

 
Yes!  Simply contact us via the web (it is our goal to respond within 48 hours) or call us via our toll-free phone number (800) 377-7412.

What about items sent to undeliverable destinations?

 
LighthouseBookstore.com is not responsible for shipping charges incurred when the recipient is for any reason unable to accept items shipped. It is the responsibility of the guest initiating the order to ensure that the shipping address provided is a current, working address.

Why do I need to Register when I want to place an order?

 
Registering allows for an extra level of security, allows for ease of future ordering, and allows you to track your order status and history.  There is a lot of value in having a registration process as we desire to provide you with the most secure and simple shopping experience.

Yes, we can help! Just enter your email address in the Lost/Forgotten Password section and click the "continue" button.

 

 

4.  Questions about products

How do I search for a product?

 
I'm having trouble finding the product I want. Do you have any search tips?

When using the general Search enter one keyword, either from the artist/author's name or from an items title.

Here are some examples using Search:

Entering "Lucado" will find a line listing of items by and about authors named Lucado.
Entering "Veggie" finds a line listing of all VeggieTales® products.

If you would like to refine your search criteria, you can enter two adjacent words in the search box.

Here are some examples using two words:

Entering "NLT Bible" would return 0 (zero) results because an example of the actual listing is "NLT - COMPLETE REFERENCE BIBLE". 

In that example NLT and Bible are not adjacent words in the listing information.

Entering "Reference Bible" would return all the listings that have Reference & Bible as words beside each other.

You can use as long a string (as many words together) as you like, bearing in mind that if any of the words are not adjacent in the listing it will not return any results.

Browsing Categories

 
We have categorized our products by department. We recommend using category to find the widest variety of items in any department such as Gifts or Bibles.

I've tried the search, but still can't find it!
